The "Trainee Talent" session is a dedicated segment within the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) conferences, specifically designed to showcase the skills and knowledge of anaesthesia trainees and postgraduate students. This session provides a platform for emerging professionals to present on various anaesthesia-related topics, fostering academic growth and encouraging active participation in the anaesthesia community.

Eligibility and Application Process:

Who Can Apply: Active trainees or postgraduates (DA, MD, DNB, DM) who are Life Associate Members of the ISA and are actively enrolled in their training programs as of August 10th. A certificate confirming active training status, signed by the Head of the Department, must be submitted during the application.
Submission Requirements: Applicants are required to submit a preliminary presentation on any anaesthesia topic of their choice. The content should focus solely on the subject matter without revealing the presenter's name or institutional affiliation to ensure unbiased evaluation.
Presentations that are comprehensive and topical, with audiovisual content will be given preference.
Selection Process: The Academic Committee of ISA, in coordination with the Scientific Committee of the conference, reviews the submissions through a blinded online system. The top 10 submissions are selected for final presentation, and the finalists are notified by August 1^st.

Final Presentation:

Format: Selected presenters are allotted a 5-minute slot to deliver a lecture on a topic assigned by the Scientific Committee of the conference. The presentation can include text, illustrations, and videos; however, pre-recorded audio is strictly prohibited.
Evaluation: Presentations are assessed based on content quality, delivery, and adherence to guidelines. Winners are recognized with awards, which may include medals, certificates, and cash prizes.

The "Trainee Talent" session not only highlights the capabilities of young anaesthesiologists but also promotes a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the ISA community.
